MAPP Leadership


The Live Healthy DeKalb (LHD) Executive Committee and Coalition provides guidance and oversight of MAPP by participating in every phase of the process. In the beginning, this means making sure the organization reflects the county's diversity and that the necessary resources and support are available. The Steering Council's responsibilities also include designing and participating in the visioning, assessment and action planning phases.

The The LHD Executive Committee will provide oversight of MAPP by:

  • Identifying and recruiting participants for the MAPP assessments
  • Overseeing activities of the MAPP assessment committees
  • Identifying and analyzing strategic issues
  • Implementing the structure of the MAPP process
  • Selecting goals and objectives
  • Overseeing action planning, implementation and evaluation
