Improves indoor air quality by providing information for homeowners, tenants, property managers and landlords and by assessing schools and businesses.
Most people spend a significant amount of time indoors. The quality of the air they breathe can affect their health. Issues of concern include carbon monoxide, mold, mildew and radon. The Environmental Health Division only has the authority to address Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) issues for permitted facilities, such as restaurants and hotels. This program, however, can provide information to assist residents in identifying indoor air quality problems and guide them towards solutions.
