Inside the Board of Health Welcome inside the DeKalb County Board of Health. DeKalb County, with a population of more than 600,000, is one of the five core counties that make up metropolitan Atlanta. It is district 3-5 of the Georgia Division of Public Health and serves the people who "live, work and play in DeKalb." The BOH offers a wide array of clinical and community health prevention services focused on preventing disease, injury, disability and premature death. We have six health facilities located throughout DeKalb County. Our partnerships include the DeKalb Community Service Board, Grady Health Systems and numerous social service, university, schools, faith based, multi-ethnic community partners. |
