Visit the new East DeKalb Teen Center during its open house! The event is Thursday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m.
The open house will feature a program at noon with remarks by Lithonia Mayor Marcia Glenn. Tours and refreshments will also be available.
The teen center's location is 2612A Max Cleland Boulevard in Lithonia. MARTA bus route 116/Redan Road serves this area.

The East DeKalb Teen Center for Adolescent Health and Youth Development is sponsored by the DeKalb County Board of Health and its East DeKalb Health Center. It will provide a variety of programs to reinforce adolescents' positive attitudes and healthy behaviors and activities.

Comprehensive health services will be offered including counseling, pregnancy prevention services, physicals, diagnosis and treatment of illness and career planning assistance. Center hours will be Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
