Have fun and receive important health services at the same time!

The DeKalb County Board of Health's East DeKalb Health Center is sponsoring a Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The event will feature back-to-school health services, such as immunizations and screenings, for the first 100 children. Those who may need immunizations must bring their shot record for review by a nurse.

The entire family can also enjoy snacks, storytelling, face painting, a moonwalk and other great activities.

Students receiving the required health services on Family Fun Day will avoid the long lines that will occur closer to August 12, the first day of class for DeKalb County schools.

The East DeKalb Health Center is at 2277 South Stone Mountain-Lithonia Road in Lithonia, three miles east of Panola Road.
