JOB POSTINGS
There are currently
three methods of job application at the DeKalb County Board of Health.
1. Apply in Person
Come to our personnel office at 445
Winn Way, Decatur, GA, Monday - Friday, between the hours
of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., and fill out an application in person. This method
is recommended if the position you are applying for closes within the next
two days.
2. Mail the
Application
Download the complete Georgia State Merit Application form, print it,
complete it and mail it to the address in the job announcement. Download Application or
copy and paste into Word. (state application)
No faxed copies please.
3. E-Mail -

Additional
information:
You must
submit a state application each time you apply for a position. If an application is not
received by 5:00 pm on the closing date, we will assume you're no longer
interested in the position. Please submit application and resume only, any
additional information should be submitted if you receive an interview
(e.g. references, letters of awards, reports etc.) unless requested.
Note: If the position requires a degree
as a minimum qualification or as a preferred qualification, a certified
copy of your college transcript must be submitted. If a certified
transcript is required and is not received, your application will be
screened out of the process and you will not be eligible for an interview.
(Please mail or e-mail you application and have the college submit your
transcript).
