DECATUR, Ga. – The DeKalb County Board of Health’s Doraville MARTA station vaccination site, located at 6000 New Peachtree Rd., in Doraville, will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 28.

The closure is necessary to provide additional staffing resources to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for the event at The Mall at Stonecrest, taking place from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The DeKalb County Board of Health, along with DeKalb County Government, DeKalb Fire Rescue and MedCura Health are partnering for this event.

The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be provided for administration.

COVID-19 vaccinations are free. However, if you have insurance, we ask that you please bring your insurance information and photo ID with you. An administration fee may be applied for Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. You will not receive a bill from the DeKalb County Board of Health or your insurance company for the administration fee. Not having insurance will not prevent you from getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

Regular hours for the Doraville MARTA vaccination site, Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., will resume on Tuesday, Aug. 31. The site will be closed on Saturday, September 4, for the Labor Day holiday.
