Clarkston Mayor Edward “Ted” Terry is the DeKalb County Board of Health’s newest board member.
Mayor Terry has lived in Clarkston for two years and in DeKalb County for eight years. A non-profit development consultant, he is especially involved in Clarkston’s Active Living Initiative, Farmers Market and Green Team.
“I am excited that Mayor Terry is a member of the DeKalb County Board of Health and look forward to working with him,” said S. Elizabeth Ford, M.D., M.B.A., District Health Director.
The DeKalb County Board of Health’s board establishes broad agency directions and priorities; adopts policies, rules, regulations and annual budgets; and reviews the agency’s performance. Its meetings are open to the public.
