 DECATUR, GAThe DeKalb County Board of Health is seeking county youth and adults who are active social media users to help spread healthy messages to their friends and family.

“To be more efficient in sharing messages with the public about the importance of healthy lifestyles, we need those who are already on social media to help amplify the stories,” said Dr. S. Elizabeth Ford, District Health Director/CEO of the Board of Health.  “The viral network will be a way for participants to make a difference in the lives of those they care about just by furthering their social media footprint.”

Anyone interested in becoming an ambassador must complete an application available online at dekalbhealth.net/ambassador by 12:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016.  Ambassadors will receive further training facilitated by Chuck Wilson Jr. at iSuccess Consulting Inc., (404) 425-3640 or chuck@isuccessconsulting.com on Saturday, August 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the DeKalb County Board of Health, 445 Winn Way, Decatur.
